We offer practical assistance to rough sleepers including hot food and drinks, access to showers and a change of clothes.
Whilst these practical items are essential, the advice and support that we provide are the key to progressing off the streets (often via our Night Shelter). Our team provides trauma informed support and access to advice on Universal Credit, housing and harm reduction.
Our support workers engage with people on the streets all year, in every weather and we engage with local traders and others in the community to identify those who are in need.
We respond promptly to every report from partner agencies or members of the public about someone who may be homeless and who is often vulnerable and alone. We provide a consistent approach to find people as quickly as possible when they need support.
With our team’s experience, and our collaborative approach, we build relationships based on trust and assist our service users to identify what they need to move off the street and into accommodation. This transition isn’t always easy, so we aim to provide the appropriate support at the right times to help them achieve positive change.
